This guide is designed to support students and teachers through the process of scientific inquiry to ultimately showcase and celebrate student learning.
There are six stages to this scientific inquiry guide (Inspire, Explore, Design, Test, Analyze, and Share).
Each stage guides the student through the process of scientific inquiry.
Throughout the entire inquiry process students must document their learning by keeping and writing a science journal or log book.
Some tips for writing a journal/log book: Record and log everything that you do in ink, be sure to include details of what you did including the time and date, complete all the checklists and add them to your journal/log book, reflect all of the refinements and improvements that you make during your learning journey and record them, include any feedback you receive in your logbook, and be sure to note all of your successes and failures.
